Thanks to the collaboration with the Culture and Sports Club Al-Hamriya, the closest municipal zone took part in the second edition of the Ramadan Village. The children were given the opportunity to showcase their creativity and express their ideas by developing Ramadan lanterns with their own hands in a master class titled "Create Your Lantern".
During the conducted master class, which took place yesterday evening and was aimed at children, a significant engagement of the kids was noted. They were provided with various materials such as cardboard, paints, and decorative ribbons to familiarize them with the basics of design, decoration, and crafting.
Sheikh Jamal al-Shamsi, representative of the corporate communications department in the Al-Hamriya municipality, emphasized that the goal of the master class was not limited only to the craftsmanship aspect, but also aimed at nurturing children's creativity and thinking, promoting collective work among them with the aim of strengthening the sense of achievement, self-esteem, and familiarization with the Ramadan traditions in an engaging, informative, and simple form.
According to the director of the Al-Hamriya municipality Mubarak Rashid al-Shamsi, the master class was an excellent opportunity for children to develop their crafting skills and understand the significance of the lantern as a symbol of tradition in the holy month.
